That would either require lootmaster or trusting randoms to not get greedy and "need" anyways despite the agreement.
Ffa in modtools how to#
I've never done it since I'm not sure how to pull it off. Probably the ideal loot rule IMO is a compromise: Map owner picks 1 or 2 items they are guaranteed to get (only they need), and it's FFA for all other loot.

True, this means that I don't tend to win much on my own maps, but if everyone contributes at least one map, it usually works out, and I usually at least get something. With "owner need, everyone else greed," I just want to get it over with and move onto the next map because I know that I won't get anything but gil and cheap mats. Everyone contributes, everyone can roll, and I end up praying for people to pick the right door so we can all share the loot. It's not fun and it can be mind-numbing, especially on longer Canal runs because the owner always needs everything.įFA I have mixed feelings about as well, but I generally prefer it to "owner need, everyone else greed," simply because I find it more fun. However, it really sucks to be the one who provides maps and never gets a portal (or gets portal and then booted out at the first or second door), because you will still have to help do the other people's maps and watch as they take all the good loot. The "owner need, everyone else greed" is nice in that if you get lucky with portals and doors, you will get a HUGE return on your map. I do occasionally see FFA parties though. On Siren, "owner need, everyone else greed" is the most common loot rule by far.

It is said that users with a matching mod setup can see each other's lobbies.Īdditionally, the launch button lo longer works. MODFLOW is the recognized name for the U.S.

MODTOOLS translates data into a GIS software called ARC/INFO. That, or the alternative is patching the table.vpp_pc, which few mod authors (I do in a few of mine) bother with, since we aren't positive how mods work in MP. MODTOOLS is a set of computer programs for translating data of the ground-water model, MODFLOW, and the particle-tracker, MODPATH, into a Geographic Information System (GIS).

Table.vpp_pc acts as a check for validity as far as we know, and the easiest solution was to rename it (as the mod loader originally did), which causes crashes in MP but not SP.Īll you gotta do is rename table.vpp_pc to something else in your data\ folder and your SP mods will work.
